This is the procedure in four steps:

Step 1

A voice message is transmitted (30 = voice message sent and 31 = voice message sent). The hourglass appears in the eCall portal.

Step 2

Call is received by recipient. The recipient answers the call and must press a key for the voice message to be read out.
If the receiver hangs up without pressing a key (so the voice message was not transmitted), the voice message enters the repeat level (status 39). The repetitions are performed every 5 minutes. There are a total of 5 repetitions. The hourglass appears in the eCall portal.

Step 3

The recipient answers the call and presses a key as prompted. The voice message is read aloud. After the voice message has been played, the recipient is prompted to click the hash key (#). If the receiver does not press the hash key, the status changes to 33 ( = voice message played but not confirmed). In the eCall portal you only see 2 checkmarks. In this status there are no repetitions.

Step 4

Only when the receiver clicks on the hash button to confirm the voice message after it has been played does the status change to 34 ( = voice message played with feedback). Now you can see the 3 checkmarks at the status in the eCall portal under Logbook >> Sent messages.
